KUALA LUMPUR, 17 JANUARY – Chery Malaysia is proud to be supporting the Asia International Security Summit & Expo (AISSE) 2025 as its Official VIP Vehicle Partner.
The fleet of 60 SUVs, comprising of Chery’s OMODA 5, TIGGO 7 PRO and TIGGO 8 PRO will be utilised to ferry distinguished guests and delegates from 15 countries to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), ensuring a seamless and premium travel experience throughout the event.
During a handover ceremony, Chery Malaysia’s Vice Presidents, Michael Chew and Cheng Nam Weng, officially handed over the vehicles to the event’s organiser Anita Jacobson, Group Managing Director of Alpine Group Services, and Marina Yahya, Business Advisor of Alpine Group Services. The event was witnessed by DCP Gilberd Philip Layang, Deputy Director of the Logistics and Technology Department, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and SAC Zakaria Ismail in Bangi, Selangor.
The three-day event from 20 – 22 January, 2025 will be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre and is set to feature the ASEAN+ Security High Roundtable, co-organised by ASEANAPOL, bringing together Ministers of Home Affairs from participating countries and their respective Police Chiefs to discuss strategic and cross-border security issues. Malaysia’s Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to deliver the opening address at this prestigious event.
With the theme ‘Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security Through Law Enforcement Collaboration’, AISSE 2025 will bring together 200 security organisations and industry stakeholders from countries including Malaysia, Canada, Hong Kong, Latvia, Singapore, South Korea, United States, Taiwan, Turkey and others.
Some 5,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the event with approximately 36 forums and conference sessions are scheduled to be held.

Beyond providing official vehicles, Chery will also feature an exclusive showcase at the AISSE 2025 expo, whereby attendees can view and test-drive Chery’s OMODA 5, TIGGO 7 PRO and TIGGO 8 PRO.
