Chery won 10 awards in CEVR
Recently, the 8th CEVR （China EV Rally, Qinghai Lake) 2021 was held, and the world’s famous automobile enterprises gathered on the side of Qinghai Lake to compete together. As the “leader of green and intelligent travel life”, Chery provided two blockbuster models — the aluminum-body electric car EQ1 and the new high-power electric SUV EQ5 for competition. After a rigorous evaluation and competition, the Company has won 10 awards such as “Best Battery endurance” and “Best Fast Charging Ability”.
Since its inception in 2014, CEVR has built a highly professional evaluation system for electric vehicles, which is a classic competition in the field of New energy vehicles in China. The total mileage of this event is 1145km, the highest altitude is 3940m, and there are 12 stages, and 13 professional evaluation contents, including fast charging, battery life, power saving, wading, acceleration, braking, handling, smart technology challenges and five subjective evaluations covering technology, comfort, interior, appearance and space. In addition, the event also simulated the real driving scenarios of users, using the comprehensive evaluation scheme of combination of “endurance + power saving”, requirement on different speed, and opening lights and air conditioning at different section, so as to test the comprehensive strength of the participating models.
EQ1 and EQ5 perform well under the harsh conditions of rigorous testing, difficult terrain and harsh weather. With an actual endurance of 459km, EQ1 won the “best endurance” award. In the process of actual test, EQ1 experienced multiple challenges such as turning on the air conditioning, driving at fast + low speed, driving on mountain road + urban road, etc. to prove the stability and reliability of this electric car with real strength.EQ1 also won the award for “Best silent effect”, “Best space design” and “Best mini electric car”.
EQ5 also performed well in the competition, winning the “Best fast charging ability award” with its leading fast charging ability, as well as the “Best wading ability award”, “Best handling performance award”, “Best space design award”, “Best comfortable configuration award” and “Best endurance award”.
